We focused on the entrance gates at public transport.

At the end of the cycle resulting in an interactive public transport Chare Experience.

I am here to make your and everybody’s time in public transport a better, and safer environment.

This passenger has cycled through the rain to catch her train. Her coat is wet and she’s cold.

[chairio says] “would you like to turn on the seat heater?”

[passenger says] “yes please”

This passenger has been behaving so well lately. She has been polite to the conductor. She has kept her feet off the chairs. She has earned enough points for a free massage.

[c says] “would you like a massage?”

[p says] “yes please”

[chairio massages the passengers shoulders]

[p falls asleep] The passenger has had a long day. We’re getting closer to the station.

[c says; softly] “psh. Wake up. We are nearing Rotterdam Central station”

The passenger gets a phone call. The passenger is sitting in a silent space. This is bad behavior.

[p takes up the phone]

[p says] “hi, yes I am almost there. How are you? How are the kids? You will never believe what I overheard at work today…”

[c says] “this is annoying to other passengers”

[p keeps talking]

[c says] “stop calling at once or I will be forced to take measures”

[ p keeps talking]

[ c makes a bleep sound]

[p looks at phone confused]

This passenger was being a nuisance to her fellow passengers. Her phone’s connection was cut off. This passenger was being rude. When passengers are rude, or a nuisance otherwise, their behavior is influenced by me, chairio. When passengers are nice and well-behaved, they get rewarded. This could be in the form of seat heating when it is cold outside, cold airconditioning when it is hot, massage chair they have racked up a certain amount of good-behavior points.

They can access the AI in the chair via a panel, where also a button is situated to alert the trainconductor, if needed. If they behave badly they lose points, and get disciplined by Chairio. This will create a safe and good environment for every passenger.
